Skills grow when you use them
Swordsmanship and each elemental school gain their own XP when used. Skill points improve effectiveness from the beginning instead of waiting for a late threshold.
Bree has more to offer than quiet village life. Help Leon Arden find his footing, learn the sword and shape his abilities through the battles he chooses to fight.
In Ardenborn, Leon's path opens among the people of Bree rather than on a distant battlefield. Mira, Gale, Lara and Emi introduce different skills, while everyday requests lead from familiar houses to the fields, forest and road toward Alta. The 21-quest story gives the journey direction without preventing you from revisiting available locations. When trouble arrives, combat unfolds in turns: choose a sword strike, use elemental magic, restore health or retreat. There are no fixed character classes. Leon's skill in swordsmanship, fire, water, earth, air and healing grows according to what you use. This original fantasy adventure plays directly in your browser.
Swordsmanship and each elemental school gain their own XP when used. Skill points improve effectiveness from the beginning instead of waiting for a late threshold.
Elemental magic is available from the beginning of the story. Swordsmanship unlocks after sword training, and Healing unlocks after healer training.
Every level above Level 1 increases attack and healing effectiveness by 5%, so overall character progression matters alongside individual skill XP.
A victory keeps all earned skill XP and awards enemy gold. A defeat keeps 50% of earned skill XP but gives no gold. Retreating gives no skill XP and no gold.
Auto-Battle only uses abilities you have already unlocked and can heal when HP becomes critically low. You can still take manual control whenever you want.
Bullies, bandits, wolves and training opponents have different HP, levels and skill sets. Later enemies can survive longer and require better use of your abilities.
The interface highlights the route or action connected to your current objective, but you remain free to explore other available locations, train and fight.
The adventure contains 21 quests. After completing the final quest, you can continue exploring the world, training skills and fighting enemies.
A sword strike improves swordsmanship; a spell trains its element. Healing earns experience only when it restores health that was missing.

Choose an attack, an elemental spell, healing or retreat. The option you use determines what experience your character earns.
Fire is the strongest consistent elemental damage option. Sword is a reliable physical attack, while Water, Earth and Air trade some consistency for recovery, defense or critical-hit potential.
Water restores HP equal to 20% of the damage it deals. Earth reduces the next incoming hit by 30%. Air has a 20% chance to deal a 1.75× critical hit.
The four elemental spells are available from the beginning of the story. Swordsmanship unlocks after sword training, and Healing unlocks after healer training.
Defeat keeps 50% of the skill XP earned during that battle but gives no gold. Retreat gives no skill XP and no gold. Victory keeps all earned skill XP and awards enemy gold.
