Your campaign begins at the northern border

Ayla and her forces have reached a frozen river with an enemy fortress on the other side. Mine gold, gather wood, recruit guards and rangers, and build defensive towers. Survive enemy raids, use ice magic and prepare for the final assault. Destroy the enemy fortress while keeping Ayla and your own stronghold alive.

How to command your army

  • Press 1 to select Ayla and A to select the army. Q casts Frost Nova, W lets you target Blizzard, R recruits a guard and Space pauses. Click or tap to issue orders, drag to move the camera, and scroll or pinch to zoom.
  • Gather resourcesWorkers bring gold from the mine and wood from the grove. Assign their tasks and protect the routes back to your stronghold.
  • Recruit your armyTrain guards for close combat, rangers for ranged support and workers for gathering. Watch your supplies and population limit.
  • Build your defensesPlace towers on open ground near your stronghold and hold the line as enemy waves approach.
  • Turn winter into a weaponFrost Nova slows nearby enemies, while Blizzard damages a selected area. Spend your mana at the right moment.
  • Hold back the raidsEnemy forces arrive in waves. Position your troops and keep your stronghold safe until you are ready to attack.
  • Capture the enemy fortressCross the frozen river and destroy the enemy stronghold. Protect Ayla and your own fortress: losing either ends the battle.

How to win the battle

Start with your economy

Send workers for gold and wood, then recruit troops and build towers before the next wave reaches you.

Command your forces

Select Ayla or the army and point them to a destination. Your troops automatically engage nearby enemies.

Time your spells

Cast Frost Nova when enemies are close. To use Blizzard, select an area and confirm your target. Both spells consume mana.

Launch the assault

Once your army is ready, cross the river and attack the enemy fortress. You can restart a lost battle without refreshing the page.

How do I recruit troops and build towers?

Open Camp, gather gold and wood, and recruit guards, rangers and workers. Build towers on free ground on your side of the river.

How do I use ice magic?

Select Ayla. Frost Nova affects nearby enemies; Blizzard requires you to aim at an area and confirm the target.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Tap to order, drag to move the camera and pinch to zoom. Both screen orientations are supported.

Is there a campaign save?

No. Closing the game resets the battle. You can also restart without reloading the page.
